Kansas State University’s Bakery Science and Management program is the only four-year degree program of its kind in the United States. The first scholarships will be awarded for the 2017-18 academic year. “As a graduate of the program, I can speak first-hand of the quality education and critical thinking skills I gained during my time at Kansas State,” said Paul Bright, innovation manager, AB Mauri North America. “The food science challenges of the future will be solved by the students of today, and it’s vital to support their academic pursuits.” “We are honored to have AB Mauri invest in our students and our program,” said Dave Krishock, BNEF Instructor, Kansas State University. “The company’s generosity and vision will impact our industry for years to come.” AB Mauri North America employees Alicia Kilian, bake lab technician, and Paul Bright, innovation manager, inspect dough samples in the company’s bakingHUB research bakery and fermentation science laboratory – located in St. Louis, Missouri.
