Our Approach

AB Mauri® North America’s approach to corporate responsibility is based on our core values and those of our ultimate parent, Associated British Foods. As a member of the Associated British Foods’ group, AB Mauri® North America shares Associated British Foods’ corporate responsibility core values, principles and policies that may be viewed at http://abf.co.uk/responsibility.

AB Mauri® takes its corporate responsibilities seriously. We do not use forced labor or deal in human trafficking to produce our products or conduct our business operations.

AB Mauri® has implemented a program that requires its direct suppliers to:

• Comply with AB Mauri® North America’s then current Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits among other things the use of slave/forced labor or human trafficking;

• Certify that they comply with AB Mauri® North America’s then current Supplier Code of Conduct;

• Disclose the extent to which the supplier: provide training to their supply chain employees and management on human trafficking and slavery; maintain internal standards and procedures for its employees and contractors who fail to meet legal standards regarding slavery and human trafficking; audit their direct suppliers for compliance with the prohibitions against use of slave labor or human trafficking; and engage in verification of their product supply chains to evaluate and address risks of slavery and human trafficking; and

• Agree to submit to audits for compliance with AB Mauri® North America’s then current Supplier Code of Conduct.
